Our Team
When it comes to working with a personal trainer, it's all about teamwork. Our trainers are all experienced, intuitive, fun and compassionate. They draw upon years of fieldwork and expertise, as well as their own passions and interests, to help you find your path, break destructive cycles and barriers, and get you in the best physical shape of your life.
We've assembled a truly diverse team - each with his or her own specialty, well-respected in the industry, and fully degreed and certified - so that we can always match your needs to someone who understands them.
Paul Collins - Owner / Personal Trainer / Cycling Coach
As an outdoor enthusiast Paul spends his free time biking regardless of the weather, rock climbing in the summer and snowboarding during the winter months. It is his personal and professional objective to be the catalyst for his clients to achieve high levels of physical fitness and well-being. As a dual sport collegiate athlete with a degree in exercise science Paul was inspired to pursue training as a permanent lifestyle. His training philosophy revolves around developing strength and flexibility for functional movements. This starts with mastering everyday single-axis exercises and progressing to multi-axial coordinated movements. Paul understands the unique needs of his clients and takes great pride in tailoring individual training programs to meet those goals.
Dr. Tim Saruk - Personal Trainer / Chiropractor / Golf Fitness Coach
As a chiropractor, Dr. Tim Saruk has spent the last ten years studying and working with the human body and human development. Ninety hours of doctorate studies in anatomy, physiology, nutrition, and biomechanics alone provide the knowledge to address client concerns regarding preventative lifestyle choices, posture, weight gain, heart health, and nutrition. A love for sports medicine and working with athletes directed him towards sport specific training. He is the founder of HealthyBack 9 golf fitness. As both a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist and Titleist Performance Institute Certified Golf Fitness Instuctor, Dr. Saruk has the know-how to help the 17 year-old make Varsity Softball or the 40 something improve his golf swing. Maximum gains require diverse training. Dr. Saruk is able to provide that diversity while remaining focused on your goals.
Lea Petock - Personal Trainer / Volleyball Coach
Lea spends more time in a gym then anywhere else! Either Lea is teaching someone to strength train or she is coaching how to hit and pass a volleyball correctly. Indoor, grass or sand, sixes, quads, doubles, womens or coed - Lea plays all of it year round. Lea has been coaching vollyball for over ten years and she loves working with youth in a team structure. For the last three years Lea has been running the volleyball program at Lincoln High School. She then tailors each individual program for her client's activity using a combination of functional training, yoga and old school weight training to achieve their goals. Because proper progression is so important, Lea is constantly monitoring the clients progress and adjusting programming to ensure her clients the best chance of success.
